Maintenance

1、 Maintenance of panel furniture

Firstly, the floor on which panel furniture is placed must be kept flat, with all four legs resting evenly on the ground. If the furniture is placed in a state of frequent shaking and instability, it will inevitably cause the tenon or fastener to fall off and the bonding part to crack over time, which will affect the use effect and reduce the lifespan of the furniture. In addition, if the floor is soft and causes the furniture to be unbalanced, do not use wooden boards or iron sheets to pad the legs of the furniture, as even if it is balanced, it is difficult to evenly stress, In the long run, it will damage the internal structure of the furniture. The only way to compensate is to trim the ground or lay a slightly larger area of hard rubber board on the south side to make the furniture landing on all four legs smoothly.

Secondly, it is best to use pure cotton knitted fabric when removing dust from furniture, and then use a soft wool brush to remove dust from dents or relief patterns. Furniture treated with paint should not be wiped with gasoline or organic solvents. Colorless furniture polish can be used to enhance luster and reduce dust.

Thirdly, it is best not to place furniture in direct sunlight. Frequent exposure to sunlight can cause the paint film on furniture to fade, metal parts to oxidize and deteriorate, and wood to become brittle. It is best to shade the furniture from the sun with curtains in summer.

Finally, it is important to maintain indoor humidity and not let furniture get damp. In spring and autumn, using a humidifier should be limited in time to prevent damage to furniture due to excessive humidity, such as wood decay, metal rusting, and easy detachment of adhesive parts. When cleaning furniture, try to use as little water as possible, and avoid using alkaline water. It is only advisable to wipe with a damp cloth that has been wrung out of water, and then use a dry cloth to clean it. Try to avoid exposing the furniture surface to corrosive liquids, alcohol, nail polish, etc

2、 Maintenance of solid wood furniture

1. Pay attention to the cleanliness and maintenance of furniture surfaces. Regularly use a pure cotton dry soft cloth to gently wipe off surface floating dust. Every once in a while, use a wet cotton thread that has been wrung out of water to wipe off the accumulated dust in every corner of the furniture, and then use a clean dry soft fine cotton cloth to wipe it off;

2. Avoid using alcohol, gasoline, or other chemical solvents to remove stains. If there are stains on the surface of furniture, do not vigorously wipe it. You can gently remove the stains with warm tea water, wait for the moisture to evaporate, apply a small amount of light wax to the original area, and then lightly rub it several times to form a protective film;

3. Avoid scratches from hard objects. When cleaning, do not allow cleaning tools to touch furniture. Be careful not to let hard metal products or other sharp tools collide with furniture, and protect its surface from scratches;

4. Keep away from heat sources. In winter, it is best to place furniture at a distance of about 1 meter from the heating flow to avoid prolonged and high baking, which can cause local dry cracking, bending and deformation of the wood, as well as local deterioration of the paint film;

5. When using pure solid wood furniture, it is necessary to maintain a stable environment as much as possible, especially if the temperature and humidity should not change significantly, otherwise it may cause deformation of the furniture;

6. Avoid direct sunlight. Try to avoid prolonged exposure to outdoor sunlight on the entire or partial furniture. It is best to place it in a place that can avoid sunlight, or use transparent gauze curtains to isolate direct sunlight. This not only does not affect indoor lighting, but also protects indoor furniture;

3、 Fabric sofa maintenance

1. Vacuum at least once a week, paying attention to removing dead corners and fabrics
